NEW School Holiday Italian Program
COMING SOON:
Bravissimi in Scena
Bravissimi is proud to introduce Fabio Motta (Actor/Educator) as our new co-ordinator for the Bravissimi in Scena School Holiday program, one of the very first of its kind Italian drama classes in Australia.
This class offers a unique experience to fully emerge young students into the Italian language through the magical world of theatre.
Through theatre games, improvisations, commedia dell’arte masks, repetition exercises and physicalization of words students will effortlessly and enthusiastically learn to speak Italian.
The class structure consists of theatre games with the use of key words and phrases in Italian which are repeated and used with different intentions. The games also build towards call and response phrases which create the foundation for dialogue.
Secondly, we will build on vocabulary by writing scenes and scenarios in Italian. The students will familiarise themselves with key phrases and words, then through play and improvisation they will develop scenarios and begin to perform a story in Italian.
The class aims to work towards a final performance presentation that is both written and performed in Italian by the students. Bravissimi in Scena combines both theatre training (the expression of body, voice and play) with a focus of learning the Italian language.
The objectives of this class are:
- Build self confidence and presence.
- Develop strong verbal and written communication skills in Italian.
- Stimulate creativity and imagination.
- Learning Italian with lots of fun, creativity and play!
This class is open to students of all levels of both drama and Italian. Stay tuned
